"I'm working at Professor Matt Ryan’s Sustainable Cropping Systems Lab located on Cornell’s campus! Our research aims to increase cropping system sustainability through ecological intensification. And I get to play with plants all day so it's amazing" -Kelsey

"I'm a part of the Cornell High Road Fellowship which assigns each fellow to a different non-for-profit in the Buffalo area as part of its community development initiative. I'm interning at WNYCOSH which is a worker advocacy and training organization that does outreach to minority communities in Buffalo. (The blurb might be too long at this point but,) The fellowship has opened my eyes to what social justice truly means and how to be a successful advocate in your own community!" -Aimee
"I got to work for Greenpeace this summer! It's one of the biggest nonprofits working to fight for the environment all around the world. I was in their Australia office and spent six weeks working to protect The Great Barrier Reef, one of the seven wonders of the natural world. It's had two mass bleaching in the past few years and now faces the risk of a coal mine popping up near by that would really harm the remaining reef." -Brooke
This week check out what some of our sisters have been up to! "I've been working with kids in China for about a month now and it's been awesome to immerse myself into a new culture and to teach these kids English. In my free time I get to travel around China and see the Yellow Mountains, and soon the Great Wall" -Michele
